The advantages of public transport

The
advantages of public transport

Public transport is very popular here in the UK and vitally
so as we are a little pressed for space. It is a great way to get around and it
can also save you a couple of quid on car insurance, parking
fees, breakdown cover and car maintenance costs.

Buses

Travelling by bus is arguably the best way to get
around London as they give you an idea of where you are and a better idea of
the layout of the city. It will also
help you to become familiar with landmarks and travelling routes around our
capital.

The
Underground

The underground is the fastest way to get from A B
but the price you have to pay is that you wont be able to see the city, you
cant feel like atmosphere and it can (if you are an inexperienced Londoner)
leave you disorientated and could even get you lost! But the tubes are
extremely efficient and can save you a bunch of time and money.

Ferries

Travelling by ferry is a great way to get around
London, should you be going somewhere near the river banks that is. You get to
see the city in a completely different light and from an entirely fresh
perspective, it is quite something travelling up the Thames by ferry
approaching Tower Bridge and the same goes for travelling down the river to
Greenwich.

Utilising public transport is a great way to get
around any city and even more so in London while saving yourself some cash in
the process. If you dont own a car it means you dont have monthly
installments to settle, no car
insurance to pay and no maintenance costs to account for. I think it is
brilliant.
